Unit Finance Controller

The Unit Finance Controller is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit compliance, cost control, and strategic planning. This role ensures the hotel's financial health, supports operational departments, and maintains strict adherence to financial policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management & Reporting**:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company and statutory standards.
- Monitor hotel revenues and expenses to ensure budgetary compliance and profitability.
- Analyze financial performance and variances, offering recommendations to improve results.
- Oversee end-of-month closing processes and ensure accuracy of general ledger and trial balance.

**2. Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and business growth.

**3. Cost Control & Operational Support**:

- Monitor and control hotel operational costs including F&B cost percentages, labor, utilities, and procurement.
- Support operational teams with financial data and recommendations to optimize performance.
- Lead inventory control processes and periodic stocktakes.

**4. Compliance & Audit**:

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and company SOPs.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely audits and resolution of findings.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and timely submission of tax returns.

**5. Team Management & Development**:

- Lead and develop the finance team including training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and ethical financial practices.

**6. Systems & Technology**:

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of financial systems (e.g., PMS, POS, accounting software).
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
