Artemisia College of Art & Design (ACAD) is a well-established Art & Design college running since 2014 with the current strength of 1200 students. ACAD is currently offering Bachelor’s degree, Diploma & Certificate courses in Animation, Game Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Painting & Sculpture. ACAD has a beautiful campus with various design elements inspired from various art movements included in the planning of the campus along with different design studios & labs and all these at very economical fee structure. We provide excellent placement in top notch companies with high packages. We are the leaders in Animation & Game Design in India and among top 20 colleges in Fashion Design & Interior Design.

**Major Concerns**:
We have only 10 % of students from MP, rest 90% of the students are from the different states, union territories & southern states of India, majority of whom come from excellent academic as well as non-academic background. We follow a tough admission process before accepting the admission of any student such as requiring Portfolio from students, entrance exam, personal interview, etc. 80% of our students are very talented when they come to the college after passing out their school but after a year 50% of them become dull & do not perform as per their capabilities. Though there is lot of academic pressures as well as requirement of participating in extracurricular activities, the students are provided with lot of support whether it is in academic, mental, moral or any other support as required.

In spite of having all the facilities, smart classrooms, properly scheduled lectures & highly professional industry experts as faculties, low attendance of 50% students is a major concern. These students do not come to the college regularly & also do not attend classes regularly. The remaining 50% who come to the college regularly are very happy & satisfied with the academics, general environment of the college, co-curricular activities, clubs, cultural events, support from college, placements. etc. Almost all these students get placed in top notch companies with high packages. Some of our alumni have even opened their own companies & recruit students from our college, demonstrating the confidence in the college.

In spite of all these, we find the belongingness towards the college missing. Our events (almost all are free of cost) are wonderful with 100% work being done by the students. Still, in spite of great feedback & reviews by the students who attend these events, 50% to 70% of the students aren’t attending these events, which is very disheartening for the college management.

We are looking for someone who has very strong background & extensive experience in dealing with such issues and providing effective solutions. Someone who can bring in radical changes in the present existing systems (academic & non-academic involving students as well as teaching faculties & support staff) of the college to solve these issues of low attendance, low loyalty, less belongingness towards the college, etc. in order to bring out the best of the remaining 50% of the students who in spite of their talents & capabilities are not realizing their full potential. We also wish to grow a strong alumni network where the students have loyalty & gratitude towards the college.

Addressing all these issues and putting in effective systems to provide efficient solutions might also mean that this person will also be responsible for building a team to deal with students directly or indirectly at all levels including academic, emotional, motivational, personal issues of the students, etc. leading to their overall holistic development.
