- Job Summary:
- Job Roles, Responsibilities & Goals:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and prioritise mitigation efforts.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain IT service continuity plans and procedures.
- Establish and maintain communication protocols to ensure timely response and recovery in the event of a disaster or disruption.
- Lead and facilitate disaster recovery exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance the organization's resilience and response capabilities.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging threats to improve continuously business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Provide training and awareness programs to ensure all employees understand their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disaster or disruption.\

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery planning, and IT service management.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans in a technology environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent are preferred.
