**Job Title**: Quantity Surveyor (Civil) - Residential, Hospitals & Commercial Constructions
**Location**: Coimbatore
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Salary**: ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 per month
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare, review, and manage **Bill of Quantities (BOQ)** based on project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct **cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning** for construction projects.
- Perform **material take-offs and quantity calculations** to ensure accurate costing.
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor and track **project costs, variations, and claims** while ensuring budget compliance.
- Conduct **site visits and assessments** to verify project progress and cost implications.
- Prepare and present **financial reports, progress reports, and cost forecasts** to stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and review of **contracts, tender documents, and procurement strategies**.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and contractual obligations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in **Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field**.
- Strong knowledge of **BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project budgeting**.
- Proficiency in **AutoCAD, MS Excel, and construction management software**.
- Experience with **contract administration (FIDIC, JCT, or other standard forms of contracts)**.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
