Logistics Executive

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Executive to oversee and manage the domestic and international transportation of machines, spare parts, and related components. The role requires expertise in supply chain operations, import/export procedures, and coordination with suppliers, clients, and transport providers to ensure seamless movement of goods while adhering to industry-specific regulations and standards.

**Key Responsibilities: Domestic Logistics**:

- **Transportation & Coordination**: Plan and coordinate the transportation of machines and spare parts across domestic locations, ensuring timely delivery.
- **Carrier Management**: Collaborate with local transportation providers and warehouses to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- **Delivery Oversight**: Monitor loading/unloading processes to prevent damage and ensure safe handling of machinery.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Work with production and sales teams to schedule deliveries based on customer requirements and deadlines.

**International Logistics**:

- **Export/Import Operations**: Manage international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and INCOTERMS.
- **Documentation**: Prepare and review shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and letters of credit.
- **Freight Forwarders**: Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure seamless delivery across borders.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay updated on trade regulations, export licenses, and country-specific documentation requirements for machine exports.

**General Logistics Management**:

- **Shipment Tracking**: Track shipments (domestic and international) and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- **Cost Optimization**: Identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and logistics operations without compromising quality.
- **Inventory Coordination**: Ensure proper stock levels of machines, spare parts, and other components for smooth supply chain management.
- **Risk Mitigation**: Develop contingency plans for unforeseen delays, damages, or logístical challenges.
- **Reporting**: Prepare logistics performance reports, cost analyses, and delivery timelines for review by management.

**Key Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualifications**:

- B Com./ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in domestic and international logistics, preferably in the manufacturing sector (experience with machinery or industrial equipment is a plus).

**Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs clearance procedures, and freight laws.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management tools.
- Familiarity with handling oversized cargo, heavy machinery, and packaging standards for equipment.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage vendors and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Familiarity with HS codes, duty structures, and country-specific trade policies.
- Experience with reverse logistics for repairs or returns of machinery.
- Flexibility to travel when necessary for site inspections or coordination.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on logistics.
- Proficiency in additional languages for international coordination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
