Who you are
- Using your specialist knowledge to deliver highly functional, well designed kitchen & bathroom layouts for your customers. You will secure a fantastic customer shopping experience throughout all aspects of the kitchen or bathroom planning process.
- Working on the shop floor, actively approaching customers who you see require help. You identify their needs by asking the right questions and advise them on the best solutions for their homes in order to exceed their expectations.
- Convey passion about the IKEA kitchens & bathrooms range and actively learn about their features and benefits. You will stay up to date on all kitchen trends & styles on the market. You share this knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- Keep your area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place at all times to give customers a positive shopping experience.
- Working alongside, communicating with & supporting external kitchen planners, in-house installation team, Business to Business team and picking & delivery teams to secure a seamless kitchen/bathroom buying process for the customer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to read, write and speak confidently in English. Additional regional language will be an advantage
- You have proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA kitchens & bathrooms range.
- You have an interest & passion in home furnishing, and kitchens & bathrooms in particular. Previous experience in designing kitchens and/or bathrooms will be an advantage.
- You have a passion for working with and helping customers. You have an understanding of customer behaviours, and how to adapt your selling style to individual customers.
- You have a flexible, hands-on approach to tasks & responsibilities. You are enthusiastic and able to work with others in a large team.
- Ability to organise your own work and make efficient use of your time. Ability to work with a high sense of urgency. You are self-reliant and motivated with an ability to prioritise & manage your own tasks.
