**Job Summary**:
The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the brewery’s kitchen, dining areas, and other service areas. This role plays a key part in ensuring that all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized, supporting a smooth operation of the brewery's daily activities. The Steward will also assist with basic food preparation and support the kitchen and service teams as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning and Organizing Work Areas**: Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, floors, and storage areas. Ensure that sanitation standards are met and maintained according to health regulations.
- **Supporting Kitchen Team**: Assist the kitchen team with basic food prep, including chopping vegetables, garnishing plates, or organizing ingredients as needed.
- **Trash and Waste Management**: Empty trash bins and take out waste regularly. Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- **Stocking Supplies**: Help restock kitchen and service areas with clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and other supplies. Assist in organizing and keeping inventory of supplies.
- **Maintain Health and Safety Standards**: Ensure that health and safety standards are met and maintained at all times. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in all aspects of the job.
- **Assist Front-of-House Team**: Occasionally assist front-of-house staff in keeping the service areas clean, including wiping down tables, chairs, and high-traffic areas.
- **Support Brewery Events**: During special events, assist in the setup, cleanup, and ensuring that necessary items are available for staff and guests.
- **General Maintenance**: Monitor and report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken equipment, plumbing problems) to management or the appropriate team members.
- **Ad Hoc Tasks**: Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a steward, dishwasher, or cleaning role in a restaurant, brewery, or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices in a kitchen or foodservice setting.
- Ability to lift up to [X] pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently with mínimal supervision.
