Associate Research Monitoring and Evaluation

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Design questionnaires to explore stakeholders’ understanding and perceptions of projects across the education and mental health domains.
- Plan and lead field surveys to collect relevant primary data on various VOPA initiatives.
- Establish systems for timely data entry, coding, and documentation.
- Prepare project status reports and present key findings to stakeholders and partners.
- Support team leads in developing and validating measurement tools to assess project effectiveness.
- Assist cross-functional teams and directors in creating and maintaining training and feedback systems.
- Coordinate with the Expansion team to deliver timely, district-wise status reports.
- Analyze data to generate periodic insights and inform strategic decision-making.
- Conduct data analysis for specific teams to produce M&E and impact reports.
- Participate actively in organizational meetings and team structures.
- Support and institutionalize robust data management systems across teams.
- Regularly compile and publish organization-level impact reports.
- Additional responsibilities as needed in response to evolving organizational priorities and project requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Formal training in research methods, data analysis, or M&E frameworks is preferred.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in research, M&E, data analysis, or project evaluation, preferably in the development or non-profit sector.
- Familiarity with designing data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires, interviews).
- Experience working with large datasets and impact reporting is a plus.

- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, STATA, R, or Power BI).
- Ability to design and validate monitoring tools and impact assessment frameworks.
- Understanding of data visualization and reporting best practices.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and sampling techniques.

**Communication & Documentation**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to compile and present findings clearly for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Documentation and reporting skills with attention to detail.

**Project & Coordination Skills**:

- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage timelines for data reporting.
- Experience supporting large-scale data collection and tool standardization efforts.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

**Soft Skills**:

- Adaptability and willingness to work in a dynamic team environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ethical handling of data with respect for confidentiality and accuracy.

To date, V-School has been downloaded over 16 lakh times on the Google Play Store and has reached more than 30 lakh students across Maharashtra. We work at the intersection of education and governance, engaging with multiple district education departments and now officially collaborating with SCERT Maharashtra.

Beyond education, VOPA also drives digital transformation for other non-profits. One such example is our collaboration with Parivartan Trust on MYCA, a digital mental health ecosystem.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 per year
