Key Details Job Title: Junior Research Associate

Department: Research Team Location: Kothrud, Pune (On-site)

Reports to: Senior Research Associate

**Key Responsibilities**
- Portfolio Intelligence & Strategic Tracking Assist in maintaining structured evaluation models and watchlists to monitor mutual fund and PMS performance, investment strategy alignment, and consistency over time. Conduct back testing to assess the effectiveness of internal fund evaluation strategies and scoring metrics.
- Fund Research & Data Automation Support the analytics backbone of mutual fund research by managing Excel-based macros and reporting tools. Regularly update fund returns, AUM flows, risk metrics, and rating movements that feed into ongoing portfolio strategy.
- Performance Monitoring of Curated Fund Lists Track and review the behavior of recommended funds across SIP and lump-sum strategies. Identify trends or outliers that inform timely reviews and help maintain portfolio quality.
- Presentation & Reporting Support Prepare data inputs and visual summaries for monthly investment presentations. Calculate internal strategy returns and contribute to presentation decks used in internal and client communications.
- Thematic & Sustainability-Linked Investment Tracking Maintain datasets related to key investment categories including sustainable, impact-driven, or goal-based funds. Monitor product consistency and alignment with broader strategy narratives.
- Cross-Functional Research Support Collaborate with product, sales, and advisory teams by translating data into actionable insights and contributing to discussions on fund performance, relative positioning, and suitability. Requirements

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Chartered Accountant (fresher) or MBA in Finance.
- CFA Level I (appeared or cleared). ? Skills and Attributes:

- Strong MS Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, basic macros).
- Exposure to data analytics tools such as Python, R, or Power BI.
- Effective communicator with a collaborative and learning-oriented mindset.
