**Role Description**
Divisional Control Office (DCO) team ensures that the division operates with high levels of integrity. DCO is responsible for supporting the business by developing, implementing, and maintaining a risk culture to ensure a strong and sustainable business control environment whilst minimizing risk arising from non-financial risk factors. DCO strategy includes improving the risk management information and strengthening the governance and risk culture.
**Your key responsibilities**
The BIRO is accountable for proper implementation of the Records Management policy within the division. As such the BIRO:
- Understands the group RM Policy requirements and translates policy requirements into IB procedures and defines the RM framework for the division
- Ensures that all stakeholders are made aware about the requirements and their R&R in fulfilment of the same
- Designs adequate controls to ensure adherence to RM framework and champions their implementation
- Tracks functioning of the controls through appropriate workflow, KRIs and metrics
- Sets up and runs appropriate Governance forums to ensure all key KRIs are being tracked and controlled and issues (if any) are properly addressed and resolved
- Liaises with COO to ensure complete coverage of and appropriately manage records related to Voice and Electronic communications
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to all Data Privacy regulations (especially the GDPR) for Personal Data
- Maintenance of the Privacy Notice including availability of the most current version and submission to new clients
- Maintenance of the divisional standard operating documents and KoDs related to the BIRO and GDPR workstreams
- Actively manages the divisional records across all the various Record Lifecycle Stages
- Maintains the divisional record inventory in Collibra tool
**Your skills and experience**
**Professional**
- Expert written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent ability to articulate and present complex issues combined with organizational experience and the ability to set and manage priorities
- Excellent quantitative & analytical skills
- Knowledge related to risk management and banking products, processes and systems preferred
- Profound knowledge of investment banking products, clients, and global operating model
- Very strong in use of Excel, Power point, MS Word, Access, Visio, Sharepoint
- Affinity to and experience with data protection matters
- Capability to understand and interpret legal text and discuss with control functions
- Experience with project management is a plus
- Additional languages are a plus but not must
