We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator. As a Computer Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and maintaining the integrity and security of our data. You will be responsible for monitoring system performance, running batch jobs, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing timely support to our employees.

**Responsibilities**:
Monitor and control computer systems and network operations to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Run and monitor batch processing jobs and ensure they are executed accurately and on schedule.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including backups, file transfers, and system restarts.
Identify and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating problems to the appropriate IT personnel when necessary.
Monitor system logs and error messages to proactively identify potential issues and take appropriate action.
Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support and assistance to employees regarding computer operations and software usage.
Maintain system documentation, including operation procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of data by implementing and following established security protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and enhancements, and participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to computer operations and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role, demonstrating knowledge of computer systems and operations.
Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or Unix, and proficiency in using command-line.
