**Scan Expert Oral Care (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)**

**Job Purpose**:
As an Oral Care BDS Scan Expert at Health Net Global, you will play a vital role in utilizing advanced scanning technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning of oral health conditions. You will work closely with the dental team to perform scans, analyze images, and provide valuable insights to support effective treatment decisions. Your expertise in dental scanning will contribute to the overall quality of patient care and outcomes.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Ø Conduct accurate and detailed intraoral scans using digital scanning technology to capture the patient's dental anatomy and create digital models for dental aligner treatment planning.

Ø Collaborate with dentists and orthodontists to review scan data and assist in developing treatment plans for dental aligner therapy.

Ø Ensure proper positioning and capture of the patient's dental structures during the scanning process to generate precise and high-quality digital models.

Ø Achieve sales targets and revenue goals by upselling products and services, implementing effective sales strategies, and maximizing sales opportunities

Ø Evaluate the quality of scans and identify any potential errors or issues, making necessary adjustments or rescans to ensure accurate representations of the patient's teeth and bite.

Ø Communicate with the dental team and aligner manufacturers to coordinate the transfer of scan data and ensure the seamless progression of aligner treatment.

Ø Provide clear and detailed instructions to patients regarding the scanning procedure, ensuring their comfort and cooperation throughout the process.

Ø Maintain and calibrate scanning equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and accurate results.

Ø Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental scanning technology, aligner systems, and treatment protocols through continuous learning and professional development.

Ø Collaborate with the dental team to integrate scan data with patient records and treatment documentation for comprehensive and coordinated care.

Ø Educate patients on the benefits and expectations of dental aligner treatment, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the scanning process or aligner therapy.

Ø Adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols during scanning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Ø 12 Assist in the monitoring and tracking of patient progress throughout the aligner treatment process, ensuring timely adjustments or refinements as needed.

Ø Reporting (Maintain the reports of all consults) ∙

Ø Publish daily, weekly, and monthly MIS as per management requirement. ∙

Ø Tracking all the Data, take care of operational issues, fixing them, list and follow up on the same till resolved.

**Qualifications**:
Ø Education: BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognized institution.

**Specialized knowledge**:
Ø In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and orthodontic principles related to dental aligner therapy.

Ø Proficiency in operating digital intraoral scanning technology and aligner treatment planning software.

**Skills & Abilities**:
Ø Expertise in dental scanning techniques specific to dental aligners.

Ø Strong attention to detail and accuracy in capturing intraoral scans.

Ø Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the dental team and explain scan findings to patients.

Ø Proficient in using dental software and electronic health records.

Ø Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.

**Experience**:
Ø Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a practicing BDS, with specific experience in dental scanning for aligner therapy preferred.

**Working conditions**:
Ø Should be flexible to travel across Hyderabad.

Ø May involve standing or sitting for extended periods.

Ø Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.

Ø May require working on weekends or evenings based on patient demand.

Pay: Up to ₹55,786.70 per month
