The Oral Surgeon plays a pivotal role in our dental team, providing specialized surgical care for patients with complex oral and maxillofacial conditions. As an integral member of our practice, the Oral Surgeon will diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health issues, from routine extractions to complex reconstructive procedures. The primary focus of this position is to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring optimal surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Surgical Expertise: Perform a variety of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and treatment of facial trauma. Utilize advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to achieve optimal results while minimizing patient discomfort and recovery time
- Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' oral health status, including medical history review, clinical examination, and diagnostic imaging. Accurately diagnose oral and maxillofacial conditions and develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences.
- Treatment Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with referring dentists, specialists, and other healthcare providers to develop and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring multidisciplinary care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of treatment options, risks, and benefits to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Patient Care and Education: Provide compassionate and supportive care to patients throughout the treatment process, from pre-operative consultation to post-operative follow-up. Educate patients about their oral health conditions, treatment alternatives, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health and wellness.
- Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Current state dental license in good standing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
- Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage patients in their care.
