**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers politely and present the menu.
- Assist guests with menu selection, explain dishes, and make recommendations (especially regional Indian veg dishes).
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and readiness before and after service.
- Refill water and attend to guest needs throughout the meal.
- Clear used dishes and utensils efficiently without disrupting guests.
- Handle billing, present checks, and process payments accurately.
- Communicate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards strictly.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with a positive attitude and inform the captain if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a waiter in an Indian restaurant preferred (1-2 years).
- Good knowledge of Indian vegetarian cuisine (North & South Indian dishes).
- Basic communication skills in English and Hindi (or local language).
- Pleasant personality, customer-focused attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Physically fit to stand and walk for long hours.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle busy shifts.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- SSC / HSC or equivalent
- Training in food service or hospitality (preferred but not mandatory)

**Work Schedule**:

- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Lunch and dinner shifts depending on restaurant hours
