Job Description: Duty Officer - PVR Cinemas

Position Title: Duty Officer

Location: PVR INOX Mall of Dehradun

Reports To: Cinema Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the cinema, including scheduling, ticketing, and maintenance. Oversee all operational activities during assigned shifts and ensure compliance with SOPs. Monitor and maintain cinema ambiance, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.

2. Customer Service: Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally. Train and guide staff to provide exceptional service, maintaining PVR's brand standards.

3. Team Supervision: Manage and supervise staff on shift, including Box Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping teams. Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign responsibilities to team members. Ensure compliance with attendance, grooming, and performance standards.

4. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, fire regulations, and emergency procedures.Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

5. Inventory and Financial Management: Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and other essentials, ensuring timely replenishment. Assist with cash handling, sales reconciliation, and reporting.

6. Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/shift reports on operations, sales, and staff performance. Provide feedback and recommendations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: Education: Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management (HM) or related fields.

Experience: 1.5 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in cinemas, retail, or hospitality sectors.

Key Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with POS systems. Knowledge of health and safety standards in hospitality.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
