Key Responsibilities:

- **Sourcing and Procurement**:Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, requesting quotes, comparing prices, and negotiating contracts.
- **Inventory Management**:Maintaining optimal stock levels, monitoring inventory turnover, and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
- **Vendor Relationship Management**:Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and resolving any issues related to quality or delivery.
- **Cost Management**:Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring purchases stay within budget.
- **Quality Control**:Ensuring that purchased goods and services meet the required quality standards.
- **Record Keeping**:Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels.
- **Reporting**:Preparing reports on purchasing activities, costs, and inventory levels.
- **Market Research**:Staying informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.

Essential Skills:

- **Negotiation Skills**: Effectively negotiating prices, payment terms, and other contract details.
- **Analytical Skills**: Analyzing data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.
