Job Description

A reputed law firm is looking to hire an Associate (1-4 years PQE) for its General Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity/Venture Capital practice in Delhi. The role offers exposure to high-value transactions and dynamic client engagements across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, including structuring, negotiations, and execution. Conducting due diligence, drafting reports, and identifying key legal risks in corporate transactions. Drafting and reviewing transaction documents, such as shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, investment agreements, and term sheets. Advising clients on company law, foreign investment regulations, FEMA, SEBI, and other corporate governance matters. Liaising with regulatory authorities and assisting in compliance-related matters. Supporting senior associates and partners on deal strategy and transaction execution.

Requirements:

LL.B. from a reputed law school. 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate law, M&A, and PE/VC transactions. Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Familiarity with FEMA, SEBI, Companies Act, and related regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
