It has listed entities in India and subsidiaries in Europe and the UK, including a major luxury vehicle brand.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities - Head Sustainability Disclosure and Reporting (ESG) - Mumbai City / PuneLead ESG reporting and disclosures to enhance transparency and stakeholder trustOversee annual ESG report preparation, assurance, and compliance with global standardsManage internal and external ESG data requests and ensure timely, accurate responsesImprove ESG data processes and internal controls for reliability and audit readinessAlign sustainability messaging across business units for consistencyBenchmark, analyze gaps, and enhance ESG metrics and disclosuresMonitor emerging ESG trends and advise on strategic responsesCollaborate on engaging ESG communications and maintain reporting documentationDrive internal awareness and alignment on ESG reporting requirements and governanceThe Successful ApplicantSuccessful Candidate - Head Sustainability Disclosure and Reporting (ESG) - Mumbai City / PuneMaster's in Sustainability, Finance, Business, or related field10+ years in sustainability, with experience in both consulting and corporate roles3+ years in ESG assurance or improving ESG reporting controlsStrong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, CSRD, BRSR) and global regulatory trendsExperience preparing ESG reports and responding to rating agenciesFamiliar with ESG metrics, especially environmental/carbon in the automotive sectorStrong project management, analytical, and communication skillsComfortable managing complex data, multiple stakeholders, and tight deadlinesKnowledge of the automotive industry; other languages and policy exposure are a plusProfessional, independent, and detail-oriented
