Headquartered in Mumbai, L&T is recognized among the top five construction companies globally, renowned for its commitment to excellence and sustainability.This position is based at L&T’s Head Office within the Corporate Sustainability Department.Position: Assistant Manager – Corporate SustainabilityLocation: Mumbai (Head Office)Department: Corporate SustainabilityExperience: 3–5 yearsRole OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic sustainability professional to support the execution and monitoring of ESG and sustainability initiatives across L&T’s diverse business verticals. The role entails managing sustainability data, supporting disclosure and compliance processes, and contributing to strategic ESG projects aligned with global best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport sustainability KPI tracking and reporting (environmental and non-environmental)Collect, validate, and analyze data across business units.Assist in preparing sustainability disclosures (BRSR, IR, CDP, DJSI, etc.).Monitor compliance with environmental and ESG regulations.Support internal/external stakeholder engagementAssist in sustainability initiatives on decarbonization, circular economy, supply chain etc.Research and benchmark global best practices to support continuous improvement.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related field.3-5 years’ relevant experience in ESG/sustainability (EPC, infra, consulting preferred).Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRI, IR, BRSR)Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Excel for ESG data analysis and PowerpointExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.
