Job Description

Factory Operations Management

Oversee and Supervise day to day operations which includes Production & Maintenance + Asset Management in addition to other relevant activities within the PlantOptimise production processes to maximise Factory Efficiency and ProductivityManage the factory's operational budget, controlling costs without compromising on quality

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

Optimising InventoryMonitor supplier performanceCoordinate with Procurement and SCM to ensure the timely availability of raw material

Quality, Safety & Environmental Compliance

Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications to minimise defectsLead quality audits and address non-conformance'sEnsure compliance with all safety and environmental regulationsImplement and enforce environmental sustainability practices

Administration

Supervise worker related mattersEnsure Compliance to all factory related laws at a Country and State Levels respectivelyManage administration of the plant

Procurement

Lead the Procurement Team with a strategic focus on localisation

Leadership

Lead and develop a strong second layer of Plant ManagersFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Operational Excellence

Drive process improvement initiatives for the operation excellenceImplement automation and digitisation strategies where feasible

The Successful Applicant

Candidates with a / B. Tech Degree - in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 20+ experience with at-least 5+ years in a leadership role where the individual would have a responsibility of leading the plant in a role which spans beyond ManufacturingAbility to motivate teams and achieve high resultsStrong leadership and decision-making skills
