Job Title: Field Engineer Mechanical – Oil & Gas_Substation Projects

Experience: 6 to 15 years

Location: Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

Field Support: Provide technical support to field operations, ensuring that mechanical systems and equipment are installed and operated correctly. Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems) as per project specifications and standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues during the project lifecycle, from construction through to commissioning and handover. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical work is completed in compliance with quality standards, project requirements, and safety protocols. Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify installation work, and perform inspections to ensure quality and safety. Software Proficiency: Proficient in using software like ETAP/PSCAD/CYMEGRD/CYMCAP and conversant with international standards such as IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 6-15 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role within the oil and gas industry. Experience with mechanical installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting in the field. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI). Experience with design functions of large EPC projects of GIS substations (Oil & Gas Substation Projects) from 220 kV to 380 kV
