We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Field Engineer to join our team, providing technical support to field operations and ensuring that mechanical systems and equipment are installed and operated correctly.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 6-15 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role within the oil and gas industry, overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment as per project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to field operations and ensure that mechanical systems and equipment are installed and operated correctly.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems) as per project specifications and standards.
  • Identify and resolve mechanical issues during the project lifecycle, from construction through to commissioning and handover.
  • Ensure that all mechanical work is completed in compliance with quality standards, project requirements, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify installation work, and perform inspections to ensure quality and safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-15 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with mechanical installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting in the field.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI).
  • Experience with design functions of large EPC projects of GIS substations (Oil & Gas Substation Projects) from 220 kV to 380 kV.
