Opportunity to work with a Global Swiss-based travel retail CompanyBe a part of the leadership team contributing to building businessAbout Our ClientOur client is a Switzerland-headquartered global consumer-facing enterprise with a strong presence across high-traffic international locations.With operations spanning over 75 countries and a workforce of nearly 75,000 employees, it is a publicly listed entity on the Swiss stock exchangeJob DescriptionDrive timely and accurate month-end closures, ensuring comprehensive general ledger finalization and integrity.Prepare and report annual financials for APAC and EMEA regions as per IFRS within defined timelines.Coordinate statutory audits and ensure timely closures.Schedule key milestones (Board meetings, audit sign-offs) and align internal teams.Drive timely and accurate month-end closures across finance functions.Maintain clean and compliant books of accounts.Liaise with Group controllers for consolidation reporting.Ensure statutory compliance across applicable regulations.Implement process improvements and automation.Reconcile intercompany balances with timely sign-offs.The Successful ApplicantCA is a must with 15+ years of experiencePrior experience in APAC or EMEA region is a mustStrong GL Accounting backgroundPractical knowledge of IndAS, IGAAP and IFRS requiredUnderstanding of the Accounting and MIS SystemsWorking knowledge of SAPTeam size of 10+ managed in the past
