You will be part of an enthusiastic team located in Bangalore which operates according to Indian working hours.Essential FunctionsAscertains compliance with Westlake Policies & Procedures and ensure accuracy of General LedgersPreparation of journal entriesEnsure that accruals are properly analyzed and recordedPreparation and review of account reconciliationsAnalysis of the various accounts and variances per legal entities, obtain explanations on deviationsParticipating in project groups to implement (new) accounting policies & processesPrepare and coordinate documentation for internal/external auditorsStatutory Accounting: Prepare documentation including trend analysisClose interaction with Regional ControllersMonthly cycles:Manual invoicingGRIR processIntercompany reconciliationBonus accrualsFX revaluationLease accounting entriesQualificationsB. Com, MBA Finance, BBA Finance1-3 years experience in accounting, with good knowledge of GL accountingSAP (G/L module) experience is required. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plusChemical industry background a plusGood interpersonal/problem solving skillsAble to handle multi-tasks simultaneouslyFluent English required and Multi-Language is a plusFeel at home in an international environmentTeam playerFinancial and Accounting SkillsGeneral Financial Systems KnowledgeWestlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
