Key Responsibilities:

· Food Preparation and Cooking:

·Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards. 

·Ensure food is ready on time and in the correct order. 

·Maintain portion control and ensure dishes are presented attractively. 

·Assist in menu planning and development. 

· Supervision and Training:

·Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support. 

·Manage the development and performance of kitchen staff. 

·Ensure all staff adhere to safety and hygiene standards. 

· Inventory and Ordering:

·Check stock levels and order supplies as needed. 

·Monitor food costs and identify areas for improvement. 

·Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items. 

· Hygiene and Safety:

·Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

·Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. 

·Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations. 

· Other Duties:

·Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed. 

·Participate in menu planning and seasonal offerings. 

·Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative dishes. 

·Lead by example and maintain a positive and productive kitchen culture.

·Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.

·Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
