Accounting Operations & Financial ReportingPrepare monthly MIS and analyze data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunitiesPrepare financial statements incl. balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statements and notes to accountsPrepare inventory reconciliation, AP reconciliation and expense reconciliationPrepare budget, forecast & financial projections2. Tax CompliancePrepare GST tax returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & 9C), ensure compliance with tax laws and regulationsPrepare and deposit TDS data with reconciliation of return and replies for tax matters related to GST and Income Tax etc.3. TDS Monthly Preparation of DataExtract TDS Ledger from Balance Sheet and Cross check TDS amount with expense report and calculate threshold under section 194 Q and 197 regarding the TDS Lower deduction certificatesPass reversal entries regarding bills for which TDS was earlier deducted on AdvanceFinalize data with consultant and deposit TDS on time4. Quarterly TDS Return FilingPrepare TDS sheet for filing of quarterly TDS Return with the requisite information- challan details, Vendor details, expense amount detailsClub quarterly TDS data with challans and Finalize data for quarterly filingDownload and circulate Form 16 A to respective PICReconcile books v/s TDS Return with consultant5. Section 194 RUse data prepared by AR team (COGS to marketing) and prepare data with the help of mails received each monthPrepare data for Store pickup and track the goods send on return basis and approval from each departmentEntry in the system regarding section 194 R TDS entries6. TDS Data for Statutory and Tax Audit PurposePrepare TDS reconciliation books v/s return and balances coming in balance sheetPrepare sheet for statutory dues payable as per the audit entriesPrepare data for section 34A, 34B, 34C as required to report in Tax Audit report7. TCS Monthly, Quarterly ComplianceGet declaration from customer to check TCS applicability and prepare sheet accordinglyExtract AR Ageing of preceding month and AR Register of current monthExtract payment transactions of current month to prepare details of customer wise monthly paymentsPrepare final sheet for liability based on above dataPrepare Quarterly Data to file TCS return and work with consultant to finalize and file it8.
