The FC will ensure robust financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning, playing a critical role in supporting our growth and mission to drive climate-positive impact at Manage the finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial performance.- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.- Lead audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business planning and decision-making.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor project economics and financial viability of climate initiatives.- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in finance Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.- 7-12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in startups, climate tech, or impact-driven organizations.- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, tax compliance, and corporate governance.- Experience with international projects, multi-currency accounting, and donor/funder reporting is a plus.- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP tools.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
