Responsible for launching and leading new greenfield project-med devicesWorking closely with Quality and Regulatory for smooth opsAbout Our ClientLeading International MNC looking to set up manufacturing their first plant in Bengaluru within orthopedic implantsJob DescriptionOversee the final setup and launch of a new production facility, including CMC equipment, cleaning lines, and cleanroom environments.Identify, qualify, and manage critical suppliers, including for casting and instruments.Set up and supervise the complete manufacturing process with a focus on output, efficiency, and quality.Optimize workflows, production planning, and resource utilization.Collaborate closely with the Quality & Regulatory Leader to establish and maintain ISO 13485-compliant processes and documentation.Ensure strict adherence to medical device regulations and standards.Recruit, train, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 30+ over time.Instill a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.The Successful ApplicantExperience:10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in orthopedic or precision medical devices.Proven experience in launching or scaling manufacturing operations in a greenfield or startup environment.Technical Expertise:Deep knowledge of precision metalwork, CNC machining, and cleanroom environments.Familiarity with validation, process control, and manufacturing under strict regulatory environments (ISO 13485, FDA, CDSCO, etc.).Leadership & Management:Strong people leader with the ability to recruit, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.Results-driven, with a structured approach to reporting, metrics, and KPIs.Mindset & Values:Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems and building systems.Passion for excellence and delivering high-quality, life-changing products.
