Summary:We are seeking a skilled CNC Turning Operator / Setter to play a critical role in our manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for the precise setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering specifications. Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC turning machines in accordance with technical drawings and work plansPerform tool setting, tool changes, and adjustment of machine parameters for optimal performanceAccurately align and secure workpieces using appropriate clamping methodsMonitor machining processes in real time and make timely corrections to address deviationsDevelop, modify, and implement CNC programs, including creating new programs for custom partsConduct thorough inspections of machined components to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finishIdentify, document, and resolve machining or quality-related issues promptlyCarry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive care of machinery to ensure reliabilityRequirementsEnglish language proficiency at a minimum B2 levelMinimum of a two-year ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldAt least5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Turning Operator / SetterVocational training as a Machining Mechanic or CNC Machinist, with specialization in turning technology, or equivalent qualification with proven experienceDemonstrated experience in programming and operating CNC turning machinesFamiliarity with Siemens or R&D control systems is advantageousProficient in interpreting work plans, bills of materials, technical drawings, and quality specificationsProven ability to work independently with a high degree of reliability and accountabilityTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skillsValid operator authorization for safe handling of lifting and hoisting equipment
