Flowman Metrix Pvt Ltd, founded in October 2022, is a rapidly growing company with a turnover of 150 Cr and over 200 employees projected by the end of March 2024. We specialize in the manufacturing of HDPE pipes, with facilities in Kalol, Vadodara in the state of Gujarat, and mild steel pipes with facilities in Shamgarh, Madhya Pradesh. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are setting up two additional units in Bamhori, District Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. Our business caters to key industries like oil and gas, power, water, and wastewater management, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - HR with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector to support our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing job descriptions, posting on job portals, and managing relationships with staffing agencies, specifically within manufacturing environments. This role also requires strong knowledge of labor laws, managing worker contracts, and addressing grievances in the local language. Prior experience in startup and small-scale manufacturing units is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write clear, effective job descriptions tailored to specific roles within the company.
  • Post job openings on various job portals and social media platforms to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with staffing agents, recruitment companies, and agencies to meet hiring needs.
  • Conduct sourcing, screening, and interviews to ensure candidates are a strong fit for both the role and the company culture.
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support future hiring needs, focusing on roles within manufacturing and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, manage worker contracts, and maintain detailed recruitment records.
  • Address worker grievances in their local language and represent the company in labor courts when necessary.
  • Optimize recruitment strategies using knowledge from startup or small-scale manufacturing environments.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts by attending job fairs and enhancing the company’s presence on job portals.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR recruitment, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, strategies, and tools tailored to manufacturing environments.
  • Extensive experience working with staffing agents, companies, and recruitment agencies.
  • Proficiency in local languages and strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in managing worker contracts and addressing grievances.
  • Prior experience in startup or small-scale manufacturing environments is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in writing job descriptions, posting on job portals, and using recruitment management software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple roles simultaneously.
