Air ticketing/travel executive

The ideal candidate should be passionate about travel, customer-focused, and motivated to build and expand a loyal clientele.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to understand and address client needs effectively.
Customize itineraries based on specific customer preferences and requirements.
Maintain regular follow-ups with clients and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote both domestic and international ticketing, catering to individual and corporate clients.
Ensure compliance with all legal and industry standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Provide consultative travel solutions rather than just processing orders.
Maintain accurate documentation in PNRs, including standard and exception-based details during the reservation process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education : Any graduate with strong ticketing knowledge. Preference for Diploma in Travel & Tourism or IATA Certification.
Experience : Proven experience as a Travel Consultant with expertise in domestic and international itineraries (geographical knowledge is mandatory).
Strong ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively.
Demonstrable expertise in handling crises efficiently.
GDS experience is mandatory – proficiency in Galileo, Sabre, and Amadeus.
Knowledge of travel reservations, fare calculations, and fare rules.
Expertise in IATA settlement processes.
Experience in handling international itineraries, corporate fares, airline updates, and SOTO (Sold Outside Ticketed Outside) ticketing.
Background in corporate travel or SOTO (Sold Outside, Ticketed Outside)) ticketing is a plus.
Knowledge of corporate travel economics and travel technology/tools is an added advantage.
