 What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Understand general accounting and assurance procedures based on the level of service provided
  • Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with Client's Service Standards
  • Identify and communicate accounting and assurance matters to other engagement team members
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Direct communication with clients
  • Supervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)
  • Participate in the budget process
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Background/Skills

  • CA / CPA designation (Required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree
  • A minimum of 3 years to 4 years of current and or recent assurance experience in public accounting
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment
  • Excellent supervisory, analytical and leadership ability
  • Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strict adherence to professional ethics.
  • Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.

Working Conditions

  • Office location - Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Core working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST, working from office.
  • Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time during busy season
  • Ability to move throughout office
  • Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc
  • Reporting to Manager or Partner of Assurance Services
