Assurance Senior

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
Understand general accounting and assurance procedures based on the level of service provided
Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with Client's Service Standards
Identify and communicate accounting and assurance matters to other engagement team members
Identify performance improvement opportunities
Direct communication with clients
Supervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)
Participate in the budget process
All other duties, as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Background/Skills
CA / CPA designation (Required).
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree
A minimum of 3 years to 4 years of current and or recent assurance experience in public accounting
Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment
Excellent supervisory, analytical and leadership ability
Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strict adherence to professional ethics.
Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.
Working Conditions
Office location - Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Core working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST, working from office.
Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
Ability to sit for long periods of time during busy season
Ability to move throughout office
Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc
Reporting to Manager or Partner of Assurance Services
