For Mumbai candidates onlyWhat Work You Will be Responsible For:Understand general accounting and assurance procedures based on the level of service providedPlan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with Client's Service StandardsIdentify and communicate accounting and assurance matters to other engagement team membersIdentify performance improvement opportunitiesDirect communication with clientsSupervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)Participate in the budget processAll other duties, as assigned.Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Background/SkillsCA / CPA designation (Required).Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degreeA minimum of 3 years to 4 years of current and or recent assurance experience in public accountingStrong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environmentExcellent supervisory, analytical and leadership abilityHave the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strict adherence to professional ethics.Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.Working ConditionsOffice location - Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, IndiaCore working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST, working from office.Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectationsAbility to sit for long periods of time during busy seasonAbility to move throughout officeAbility to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etcReporting to Manager or Partner of Assurance Services
