For Mumbai candidates onlyWhat Work You Will be Responsible For:- Understand general accounting and assurance procedures based on the level of service provided- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of assurance engagements of various clients in accordance with Client's Service Standards- Identify and communicate accounting and assurance matters to other engagement team members- Identify performance improvement opportunities- Direct communication with clients- Supervise the assurance staff assigned to the engagement (if designated as In-Charge)- Participate in the budget process- All other duties, as assigned.Preferred Qualifications/Experience/Background/Skills- CA / CPA designation (Required).- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree- A minimum of 3 years to 4 years of current and or recent assurance experience in public accounting- Strong technical skills including the ability to effectively utilize technology and the commitment to learning in the technology environment- Excellent supervisory, analytical and leadership ability- Have the ability to meet challenging client requirements, provide services, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strict adherence to professional ethics.- Ability to successfully contribute to the success of a strategic business unit of the firm.Working Conditions- Office location - Goregaon East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India- Core working hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. IST, working from office.- Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations- Ability to sit for long periods of time during busy season- Ability to move throughout office- Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc- Reporting to Manager or Partner of Assurance Services
