Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in the expense reimbursement domain to join our dynamic team. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving the development of cutting-edge expense reimbursement products. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the expense domain, be proficient in using JIRA or similar tools, and possess strong skills in requirement documentation and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and define solutions for the expense reimbursement product.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of current processes, identify gaps, and suggest improvements aligned with industry best practices.
  • Write detailed and clear business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure successful product development.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, customer meetings, and presentations, effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead the backlog grooming process and prioritize features using JIRA, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, stakeholders, and development teams to manage expectations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality product features.
  • Perform data analysis, create reports, and track KPIs to measure the product's performance and suggest enhancements.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the final product meets the agreed-upon requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years as a Business Analyst in the financial, travel, expense reimbursement domain.
  • Strong understanding of expense management systems, reimbursement policies, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in using JIRA or similar tools for managing user stories, backlog grooming, and tracking development progress.
  • Proven experience in writing clear and concise business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Engineering and MBA in any Field
  • Experience working on customer-facing product development projects.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and working in agile teams.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
