Summary:
The Business Analyst performs professional duties related to the review, assessment, and development of business processes.The Business Analyst will analyze and translate operation requirements into system deployments and business process changes.They act as a change agent to help facilitate effective process re-engineering.After determining scope and optimum solution, the Business Analyst will develop seamless solutions delivered to operations and our clients on time, within budget and within scope.
Responsibilities:
Defines and documents customer business functions and processes.Consults with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.Acts as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, information technology developers, and executive management team in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of service management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.Plans, organizes, and conducts business process re-engineering/improvement projects and/or management reviews thorough gap analysis and develop multiple solutions for identified gaps.Design new programs and processes by analyzing data, constructing workflow charge and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing business requirements.Improve systems and processes by studying current practices and designing modifications.Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.Develop and implement QA process and protocol for all process improvement initiatives and new client on-boarding.Define scope by identifying optimum solution with contingency plans.Transfer necessary business view to IT developers to ensure implemented solution meets the needs of the business.Maintain project prioritization schedule for Operations to insure balance of process improvement deliverables with new client on-boarding.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Analytics.Minimum 5+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the Fintech industry.Business requirements experience.SQL skills and/or XML skills (beginner to intermediate).Must possess proven leadership skills with the ability to influence key decision makers and collaborate across business lines.Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and be able to translate data into action.Solid organizational skills, ability to lead teams of various sizes, ability to focus on broader goals and project details simultaneously, and ability to multi-task effectively.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project or equivalent.Any Agile or PMO certification is a plus. Exposure to market research and market analysis of the latest happenings in the industry and propose viable solutionsCandidate should be ready to work in US shift timings which is currently set to 2PM-11PM and may change based on projects.Candidate should be ready to work hybrid or full time in our Bangalore office if required.Possess a strong background with different analytical techniques including Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis and SWOT Analysis is requiredDecision-making skills to assess a situation, including risks and benefits, receive feedback from stakeholders, and select a course of action.Work closely with Product Owners (PO) and establish clear understanding of the business goals to delivery the right productWork with the relevant stakeholders including client to get clear well documented requirements and manage the entire requirement engineering cycleDevelop and own the requirement specification, ensure that the project objectives, charter are clearly documented, get the clarification on requirement ambiguity by talking to the required stakeholdersEnsure that requirement details provided to the engineering team is complete with as much of information available to develop precise applicationsEnsure proper decision making during scope creep with no impact on project timelinesValidate the business needs and provide right directions to the engineering team to verify that the business requirements are correctly translated and implemented into proper engineering solutionsTechnical exposure to FinTech, Banking and Financial Applications will be an added benefit. Also can have experience on working with Engineering Teams involved in development of projects using Microsoft Technologies
