Job Description: Senior Account Manager – Media & Brand Creative
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager with 7-8 years of experience in media-heavy account management and brand creative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts across multiple media platforms while driving impactful creative strategies that build and elevate brands. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with clients, creative teams, and media specialists to deliver results that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day relationships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on media and brand creative strategies.
- Lead regular client meetings, presentations, and updates, ensuring clients' needs and goals are met.
- Proactively identify opportunities for clients to optimize their media spend and improve brand performance.
- Strategic Media Planning & Buying:
- Collaborate with media teams to develop integrated, data-driven media strategies across digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
- Oversee the planning, buying, and execution of media campaigns, ensuring alignment with clients' marketing objectives and brand vision.
- Stay informed on industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging media technologies to recommend innovative media opportunities to clients.
- Brand Creative Strategy:
- Partner with the creative team to ensure brand campaigns align with clients' creative vision and objectives.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to develop innovative brand ideas that resonate with target audiences.
- Review and approve creative deliverables, ensuring they are on-brand, on-message, and within the scope of media plans.
- Manage creative production timelines and ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule.
- Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the execution of media and creative campaigns, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and objectives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with data analytics teams to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and report on ROI to clients.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor junior account managers, media planners, and creative teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Foster a collaborative work environment between creative, media, and strategy teams to ensure integrated, cohesive campaigns.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution of all client projects.
- Reporting & Financial Management:
- Develop and present detailed reports on campaign performance, budget spend, and return on investment (ROI).
- Ensure that all client billing, invoicing, and financial tracking are handled accurately and on time.
- Maintain budget adherence for all media buys and creative production.
Qualifications:
- Experience : Minimum 7-8 years in account management, preferably within a media agency, creative agency, or a media-heavy brand environment.
- Media Expertise : Deep knowledge of media strategy, planning, buying, and execution across digital and traditional channels (social, display, search, TV, OOH, etc.).
- Brand Creative : Strong understanding of creative development and branding principles, with experience managing end-to-end creative processes.
- Project Management : Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills : Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience in client presentations and managing senior stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to optimize campaigns and drive decisions.
- Leadership : Experience managing and mentoring teams, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to meet business goals.
- Tools & Software : Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Nielsen, Comscore, MediaOcean, etc.), as well as project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, etc.).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. MBA or other advanced qualifications are a plus.
