Engineer/ Sr Engineer/ Lead Engineer / Principal Engineer - SMART Solutions & AI Delivery We are building the future of insurance with AI. Join our India Digital Innovation Unit to design and deploy AI-powered solutions that transform underwriting, claims, and operational efficiency for a leading global insurer. We invite AI Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Principal Engineers across 3 to 15 years of experience — from hands-on model builders to AI platform architects — to be part of our high-impact journey. (Responsibilities scale with experience and level of ownership) AI/ML Development: Design, train, and deploy ML models for risk scoring, underwriting automation, fraud detection, and claims analytics. Data Engineering & Pipelines: Build and maintain data pipelines, feature stores, and real-time inference systems. Architect scalable data platforms integrating internal and external data sources. MLOps & Deployment: Develop CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and monitoring frameworks for ML models. Deploy models via APIs, batch inference systems, and cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure). Champion security, scalability, and compliance in AI design. Translate business needs into AI-driven solutions for underwriting, claims, and operations. Partner with business and technology leaders to prioritize AI accelerators and strategic initiatives. Depth and leadership expectations vary by experience level) Programming & Tools: Strong in Python, SQL, Pandas/NumPy; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch. MLOps & Cloud: Familiarity with MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes; exposure to AWS/Azure ML services. Data Systems: Understanding of data pipelines, Spark/Hadoop, and real-time feature stores. GenAI & NLP: Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and intelligent document processing.
