Role Overview
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to develop and maintain the backbone of our platform. As an SDE 1 (Backend), you will be responsible for designing scalable systems, creating APIs, and collaborating with frontend engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services that power the Lyfskills platform.
- Design and implement robust APIs for integration with frontend and third-party systems.
- Build scalable and secure systems to handle high traffic and large datasets.
- Work closely with the product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Debug, diagnose, and resolve backend performance and reliability issues.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Node.js for building server-side applications.
- Knowledge of Python .
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with databases , preferably PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Your description
- 1-3 years of experience in software development, with start-ups or early-stage ventures.
- Experience with marketplace or consumer-facing platforms is a plus.
