Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable backend services and APIs to support a robust, high-performance legal platform.
Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and designers to deliver features that provide exceptional user experiences.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance by implementing best practices and conducting regular code reviews.
Identify and troubleshoot complex issues in production, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
Take ownership of backend architecture decisions and drive continuous improvement in system design and development processes.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping to elevate the technical capabilities of the entire team.
Key Requirements
4+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on designing scalable, high-performance systems.
Expertise in Python and a solid understanding of its frameworks and libraries.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) and building distributed systems.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Proven ability to work in agile environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
