The Placement Manager/Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities related to student placements, including internships and full-time employment. The role involves building relationships with industry partners, organizing campus recruitment drives, and providing career guidance to students. The Placement Manager/Officer will work closely with students, faculty, and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth placement process and high employment outcomes. Employer Engagement & Relationship Building :
Develop and maintain relationships with companies, industries, and organizations for campus recruitment.
Regularly engage with recruiters to understand their talent needs and customize placement initiatives accordingly.
Organize campus visits, recruitment drives, career fairs, and industry interaction events.
Placement Process Management :
Provide administrative support for placement activities such as application tracking, feedback collection, and offer letter distribution.
Career Counseling & Student Preparation :
Offer career counseling services to students, including resume reviews, mock interviews, and job search strategies.
Conduct workshops, seminars, and training programs to prepare students for job interviews and professional work environments.
Data Management & Reporting :
Maintain accurate records of student placement data, employer feedback, and placement statistics.
Prepare detailed reports on placement performance, including employment rates, salary packages, and industry trends.
Use data insights to improve placement strategies and address gaps in the process.
Internship and Project Coordination :
Identify and coordinate internship opportunities for students, ensuring alignment with academic requirements.
Facilitate partnerships with companies offering internships, live projects, and other experiential learning opportunities.
