We are seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and optimize the Tanium platform across a large enterprise environment. The role involves administering various Tanium modules (e.g., Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Comply, Connect, Discover), supporting endpoint management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Administer and configure Tanium modules for patching, software deployment, compliance, and threat detection.- Monitor system health, performance, and compliance metrics via the Tanium console.- Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and client health issues.- Develop and maintain custom sensors, packages, dashboards, and reports.- Automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).- Integrate Tanium with SIEM, ITSM, and other enterprise tools.- Support onboarding of new endpoints and maintain infrastructure documentation.- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards (CIS, NIST).- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:- 7 – 10 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint or security management.- Knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration.- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash).- Understanding of endpoint protection, patching, and software deployment tools.- Strong analytical and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Hands-on experience with Tanium production environments.- Exposure to SCCM, RHEL Satellite or similar endpoint management tools.- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (CIS, NIST).- Tanium Fundamentals or Certified Operator certification.
