Job Description We are seeking a skilled IT professional to manage and optimize the Tanium platform across a large enterprise environment. The role involves administering various Tanium modules (e.g., Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Comply, Connect, Discover), supporting endpoint management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance security and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and configure Tanium modules for patching, software deployment, compliance, and threat detection. - Monitor system health, performance, and compliance metrics via the Tanium console. - Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and client health issues. - Develop and maintain custom sensors, packages, dashboards, and reports. - Automate tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python). - Integrate Tanium with SIEM, ITSM, and other enterprise tools. - Support onboarding of new endpoints and maintain infrastructure documentation. - Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards (CIS, NIST). - Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: - 7 10 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint or security management. - Knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration. - Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash). - Understanding of endpoint protection, patching, and software deployment tools. - Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Tanium production environments. - Exposure to SCCM, RHEL Satellite or similar endpoint management tools. - Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (CIS, NIST). - Tanium Fundamentals or Certified Operator certification.
