Designation: Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master
Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid work model. 2 days work from office and 3 days work from home)
Experience: 10+ years
Notice period: Immediate joiner or a maximum of 30 days
We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead and deliver complex technical projects while driving agile best practices across the team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge, strong project management skills, and a passion for facilitating team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Develop project charters, roadmaps, and schedules, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Scrum Master Duties:
Act as a leader to the Scrum team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove team impediments and resolve conflicts to maintain smooth project progress.
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
Technical Leadership:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
Ensure technical feasibility of projects and manage resource allocations effectively.
Monitor development progress, ensuring adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at various levels.
Manage relationships with internal teams, clients, and external vendors.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
Continuously improve project delivery processes and team performance.
Implement metrics to measure project and team success (e.g., velocity, burndown charts).
Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of experience in technical project management or as a Scrum Master.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops).
Proven track record of managing large-scale technical projects, preferably in (industry/domain).
Technical background with hands-on experience in software development, systems integration, or cloud technologies.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing globally distributed teams is a plus.
Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
