Studio Autumn is a full-service interior design firm based out of Bangalore. We take up design and execution(Turnkey) for residential interior projects. Believing that design impacts our lives in ways subtle and overt, we aim at creating spaces that are soulful, purpose-driven and timeless.

Educational Background:

  • Required: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in an interior design studio or architectural firm, demonstrating an ability to work collaboratively and independently on a variety of design projects.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Design Skills: Strong foundation in design principles, styles, and current trends. Ability to conceptualise, sketch, and translate ideas into compelling design solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and other relevant tools. Ability to create accurate drawings, floor plans, and 3D models.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail in design execution, ensuring precision in design documents, technical drawings, and project specifications. A commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors. Ability to present and articulate design ideas with confidence.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Capable of maintaining clear and accurate project documentation, from specifications to sample tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with senior designers to assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, and other presentation materials.
  • Prepare precise and detailed design drawings, floor plans, and 3D models, ensuring alignment with client briefs and design objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth research on materials, finishes, furnishings, and design trends to ensure that the designs are innovative and functional.
  • Actively participate in client meetings and design presentations. Assist in gathering feedback, understanding client needs, and effectively communicating design ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Maintain and organize all project documentation, including specifications, materials, samples, and design files, ensuring efficient project flow and adherence to timelines.
  • Join site visits to monitor project progress, take measurements, and ensure that design elements are accurately implemented in line with the design plans. Collaborate with contractors and vendors to resolve any design-related issues on-site.
