Job Title: QA Analyst
Location: 100 Remote
Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest quality standards before release. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests, troubleshoot, and identify issues to improve our processes and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, designers) to identify system requirements.
Design and implement automated testing tools where applicable.
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure system stability.
Create detailed and well-structured test documentation, including test cases, reports, and defect logs.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
Monitor and analyze testing results to ensure alignment with quality standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman).
Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile frameworks.
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
