Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: 100% work from home
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage financial risks and drive data-informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to senior management.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor and manage financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and market risks.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and company policies.
Coordinate audits, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA.
Experience in financial modelling and advanced data analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial dashboards.
Knowledge of specific industry financial practices (e.g., retail, manufacturing, technology).
