The company specializes in aftermarket hydraulic cylinders for surface and underground mining equipments.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Design Hydraulic Cylinders at Vektra Engineering Pvt Ltd in Kolkata. The role involves overseeing all design aspects of hydraulic cylinders and leading a team of designers and engineers. The Head of Design Hydraulic Cylinders will be responsible for design management, visual design, costing, product design, to ensure high-quality and innovative hydraulic cylinder solutions for various industries.Qualifications- Design Management and Product Design skills- Costing of Hydraulic Cylinders- Visual Design and Branding skills- Experience in designing hydraulic cylinders or related mechanical products- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure- Strong teamwork and leadership skills- Experience in the manufacturing industry i- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
