Our experiences in retail and supply chain product strategy, technology, and operations have helped organizations succeed in their e-commerce and digital transformation journeys.We’re looking for a Senior WMS Developer (C / Pro*C) to help enhance and modernise core Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms. You’ll design, develop, and optimize high-performance systems that power large-scale warehouse operations and automation environments.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Development (60%)- Design, develop, and maintain core WMS components using C, Pro*C, and Catalyst framework- Implement complex warehouse business logic (allocation, picking, putaway, inventory)- Optimize database transactions and performance using Oracle embedded SQL- Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code- Participate in code reviews and enforce quality standardsIntegration & Collaboration (20%)- Integrate WMS with automation systems (Exotec, Bastian AutoStore, etc.)- Collaborate with Python/Django teams for C-Python integration- Partner with DB developers to fine-tune Pro*C SQL performance- Engage with operations teams to align business and technical requirementsTechnical Leadership (15%)- Mentor junior developers in C and WMS development- Lead technical design and architecture discussions- Contribute to modernization and refactoring initiatives- Document design patterns and core architectural principlesRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills:- 7+ years of C programming or Oracle Pro*C, including memory management and Unix/Linux systems- Strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise, with focus on performance tuning- Experience with high-volume OLTP systems and transaction managementDomain Expertise:- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like Catalyst, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM (preferred but not mandatory)- Solid grasp of warehouse operations, automation, and RF integrations- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principlesProfessional Experience:- 7–10 years total software development experience- Proven track record delivering robust enterprise solutions in production
